History

In 1995 a hairy legged receptionist we had just hired named David walked into my office and said, "We have to build websites!". I was more than slightly stunned, unenamored by the thought we had just hired a guy who was now sitting at the desk in the reception area who had no advertising skills, but rather, had a head full of HTML. My first thought was expressed verbally in moments. "It's too early". That was true to some extent, but he was right. It was time to get started.

You see, my father had been in the advertising business for about 45 years at the time and had managed to trap me in his office to help him with his marketing. It wasn't long before I realized my real estate business wasn't compatible with his advertising and media business. I was a computer geek with a broker's license, and 10 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing and sales. This advertising and media was barely compatible with my database building, tenant tracking obsession. My half geek, half deal making brain was a good fit for building and marketing on this new platform, the new media of the web.

Needless to say, it took me two weeks to find my argument melting into final submission to Dave's imploring demand that we began developing and designing sites. Since then my hand has been on the plow, designing and deploying some pretty good work, ever changing and growing.

The changes we've seen from those “prehistoric” times to present in the information technology field has been astonishing. Back then we could only dream about what was ahead; how quickly we could build applications; how ubiquitous the web would be, and how we would be engaged and enthralled by it. It was our dream to see a day the internet become a competitively viable alternative to mainstream media and a major consideration to advertising budgets and commerce. Today it is that and much more. The web is exceedingly competitive and still gaining on it's competitors.

The web has recently overtaken newspaper media, and is closing in on television as the viewers' choice for news and entertainment. It has affected all communication and social networking brilliantly.

Now, as we keep pushing forward, we do not just design websites, but to work in new technologies to make them work for us. The goal we have and are attaining is to make our customer's endeavors more functional and effective.
